What Did Santa Bring?

Christmas Day at home

Santa Claus came to see me at home this year!

When we got home on Christmas Eve, my good friend and neighbor Erynn Allison and her Mama came over and brought us some cookies to leave out for Santa! That was sooooo sweet of them! Erynn and I carpool together :)

I got lots of great toys and my very own b-b gun. Or maybe it's a bee-bee gun. You can tell my Mama is writing this blog. Anyway, I am super-excited about all my toys and playing with them! Merry Christmas!!!

We interrupt this blog to bring you this cake....

Mama made the cake on the cover of the December '09 Southern Living Magazine - she took it to Daddy's office party and it was devoured. She said if she is going to go to that much trouble to make a cake and it turns out well, she is not only taking a picture of it but also giving it its own blog post!

Christmas fun!

WOW! We had a great Christmas in Lucedale! I had so much fun with my family and we had some great food and great presents (especially mine!) Some things I really enjoyed this year were cutting down our Christmas tree with Uncle Kevin, Grace, Mama, and Daddy; having our annual "redneck sleigh ride" at G-Daddy's; and of course opening presents! Did I tell you I got some presents? Lots of presents! Oh, and we also celebrated Aunt Courtney and Uncle Eric's birthdays - Mama made both of them a birthday cake :) And, did I tell you I got lots of presents?

Sci-Quest!

The day after Thanksgiving, Mama and Daddy took me to the coolest children's science museum in Huntsville - Sci-Quest! It had lots of fun exhibits and hands-on science experiements. I think Mama and Daddy enjoyed almost as much as I did! I could have stayed all day!

"Wore out"......

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving this year in Huntsville, AL with our family! I was so excited about going to Alabama to see them, but also because I love the song "Sweet Home Alabama" - I kept asking Daddy, "Are we in Alabama yet???" When we finally got to Alabama, Daddy cranked the radio up really loud with the song!!!

It was great to see Mimi, Aunt Brenda, Uncle Greg, Cousin Alison and Trey, and of course my cousin Charley :)

Aunt Brenda and I hung out in their cool outdoor "room" and I could have stayed their all night! We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Holiday Inn, and Aunt Brenda had a special treat planned for us - green olives and toasted pecans to go with our meal - I have no idea why but evidently that is a tradition that everyone used to enjoy at Mimi's house with holiday meals :) I was more impressed with the See-Threepio statue at the hotel - cool!!!! After lunch we went to Ali's elementary school playground that is a fun walk from Aunt Brenda and Uncle Greg's house - we had a ton of fun :)
